The Co-Founders' Vision Fund

The first-ever Sacred Place was established in 1996 here at Inspiration Point at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's headquarters. Today, there are more than 100 across the U.S. And with your help, we'll support the creation of 100 more by 2025.

The Co-Founders’ Vision Fund celebrates and honors Nature Sacred and the founding work of Kitty and Tom Stoner through the TKF Foundation in 1996. Their seed of an idea — bringing nature to people especially in urban communities — has been realized over  two and a half decades of dreaming, envisioning, and collaborating with those who live, work, and care for the communities and neighborhoods we serve. Today, Nature Sacred shares this original vision with our Co-Founders and with community members throughout the nation to bring nature’s healing through community-led, designed Sacred Places.

Gifts to the Nature Sacred Vision Fund will provide unrestricted revenue for Nature Sacred’s work to inspire and support the creation of public green spaces. In true reflection of our Co-Founders’ vision, we are providing the opportunity for a deeper human experience through nature in settings and for individuals whose access to nature is limited or non-existent.
